SAMPLE ITINERARY

 

Day 1. Arrival

Arrival at Sofia Airport. You will be welcomed by a professional tour guide. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight in Sofia.

 

Day 2. Sofia sightseeing tour, concert

Sightseeing tour of Sofia - see the St. Alexander Nevski Cathedral, the Church of St. Sofia, the Russian Church of St. Nicolas, the 4th century Rotunda of St. George and a part of the remainders of the old Roman settlement. A visit to the valuable Icon Exhibition in the Crypt of the cathedral. Time for rehearsal in the afternoon.

In the evening: Joint Concert with a Bulgarian Choir.

 

Day 3. Rila Monastery, a folk style evening out

A tour to the famous Rila Monastery (UNECSO World Heritage site) - Bulgaria’s major spiritual and cultural centre. Enjoy the magnificent views in the heart of the Rila Mountains and enjoy unique frescos and woodcarvings. See the monastery’s museum, the monumental Church and the old kitchen. Lunch in the picturesque monastery vicinity.

In the evening: folklore show & dinner in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant

 

Day 4. Departure

According to flight schedule - leisure time in the city. Transfer to Sofia airport.

       

    

Itinerary can be redisigned in accordance to flight schedule and client’s requests.
