SAMPLE ITINERARY

 

Day 1. Arrival

Arrival at Varna Airport. You will be welcomed by a professional tour guide. Transfer to the hotel denoted by the Choir Competition’s Organising Committee . Overnight in Varna.

 

Day 2. A day at the Choir Competition: the Competition’s Organising Committee is in charge of programme and daily routine as well as accommodation and meals

 

Day 3. A day at the Choir Competition: the Competition’s Organising Committee is in charge of programme and daily routine as well as accommodation and meals

 

Day 4. Varna, The Stone Forest , Aladzha rock monastery

Sightseeing tour of Varna - see the Museum of History, the Cathedral and the remainders of the Roman Thermae. A visit to the natural phenomenon “Stone Forest" nearby Varna and the Aladzha Rock Monastery nearby the resort of Golden Sands. Dinner and overnight in Varna.

 

Day 5. Nessebur

Full day excursion to Old Nessebur (UNESCO World Cultural Heritage), situated on a small rocky peninsula at the southern Black Sea Coast. See the Old town’s preserved churches from the 5th till the 17th century, the early Byzantine fortress walls built in the 4th and 5th century as well as the picturesque old houses showing specific architecture. Dinner and overnight in Varna.

 

Day 6. Boat trip, wine tasting

Half day boat trip excursion followed by qualitative wine tasting in the ‘Temple of wine’ or a similar wine cellar in the vicinity. Time at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Varna

 

Day 7. A day at leasure

Optional: Balchik, Cape Kaliakra - half day excursion to the Northern Black Sea coast. See the palace of the Romanian queen Maria in Balchik  and second largest botanical garden in Eastern Europe. Continue to the shrouden in legend Cape Kaliakra and enjoy splendid views on the rocky coast. Dinner and overnight in Varna or nearby resorts.

 

Day 8. Departure

Transfer to the Varna Airport.

 

Itinerary can be redisigned in accordance to flight schedule and client’s requests.

*NOTE: the first 3 overnights is being taken care of by the Organising Committee of the Choral Competition. Allegro Tours is in charge of the remaining 4 overnights - as per your requirements - in the same or different hotel.
